About Us

In the fabulous town of Dorset, Minnesota, located near Park Rapids, known as the Restaurant Capital of the World. La Pasta serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner from May through September.
Specializing in Italian cuisine for the evening menu.
For the last twenty-six years, we have offered the delicious entrees found throughout Italy and the USA. We strive to offer quality dining at a reasonable price as well as a family-friendly atmosphere. All food is prepared to order and made from fresh ingredients. We have a substantial menu including a good variety of vegetarian entrees.
Our breakfasts are large and delicious. When you come to visit, you must try our Dorset Pockets, French toast with blueberries or raspberries in the middle. Potato Pancakes are amazing and made just for you. Wild Rice-filled pancakes or wild rice sausage to complete that ‘up north’ dining.
Lunch is a combination of sandwiches, burgers, salads, flatbread pizza, and a limited version of our evening menu. We only serve until 2:00 PM for lunch, so don’t be late.
Dinner begins at five and offers a large variety of Italian entrees. Chicken Genovese, Mushroom lasagna, risotto dishes, as well as a large selection of ravioli. Especially the Shrimp Ravioli with scallop, shrimp, and asparagus in a lobster-infused cream sauce, a personal favorite. A large menu has something for everyone, including some American entrees.
