About Us

In the fabulous town of Dorset, Minnesota located near Park Rapids, known as the Restaurant Capital of the World. La Pasta serves breakfast, lunch and dinner from May through September.
Specializing in Italian cuisine for the evening menu.
For the last twenty six years we have offered the delicious entrees found throughout Italy and the USA. We strive to offer quality dining at a reasonable price as well as a family friendly atmosphere. All of of foods are prepared to order and made from fresh ingredients. We have a substantial menu including a good variety of vegetarian entrees.
Our breakfasts are large and delicious. When you come to visit, you must try our Dorset Pockets, french toast with blueberries or raspberries in the middle. Potato Pancakes are amazing and made just for you. Wild Rice filled pancakes or wild rice sausage to complete that ‘up north’ dining.
Lunch is a combination of sandwiches, burgers, salads, flatbread pizza and a limited version of our evening menu. We only serve until 2:00 PM for lunch so don’t be late.
Dinner begins at five and offers a large variety on Italian entrees. Chicken Genovese, Mushroom lasagna, risotto dishes as well as a large selection of ravioli. Especially the Shrimp Ravioli with scallop, shrimp, asparagus in a lobster infused cream sauce, a personal favorite. A large menu has something for everyone including some American entrees.
