Campground Security

Beautiful Long Lake Park & Campground is an 89-site, county-owned, campground with day-use areas and a public boat access. It is located 5 miles west of Itasca State Park on Hwy 200. We are accepting applications for seasonal, part-time, security personnel.  The position will be working directly with the public to ensure each guest is able to enjoy their stay at our facility while following the rules of the park.

Most of this position’s responsibilities take place after the park office has closed for the evening.  This position is responsible for informing guests of the park rules and regulations when necessary.  This position will able be responsible for informing and assisting guests in emergencies such as severe weather.

At least 18 years old with a valid Class D driver’s license. Strong communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills. The ability to work alone on Friday, Saturday, and holiday evenings approximately 7pm -11pm varing on need.
