NOON HOUR CONCERT

Description

Emily Kjenaas, a Mezzo-Soprano,  is a 10th grade English teacher in Wahpeton North Dakota, but she is originally from the Park Rapids Area. She received 10 years of private voice lessons, 4 of those under Dr. Ana Miller at the University of Minnesota, Morris. Emily loves musical theatre and greatly appreciates the opportunity to perform some of her favorite show tunes for her hometown. 

She will be performing such songs as “Maybe This Time” from Cabaret; “Could I Leave You” from Follies; “There’s a Fine Fine Line” from Avenue Q; “I’ll Be Here” from Ordinary Days; “I Get a Kick Out of You” from Anything Goes; "Watch What Happens" from Newsies; "Almost Real" from Bridges of Madison County; “Vanilla Ice Cream” from She loves Me.
