The Matt Schatza Trio is powerhouse variety band that guides you through a far reaching tour of musical landscapes with every performance. The signature sound of this dynamic three-piece can be envisioned as a scalding crucible, frothing with elements of Blues, Funk, Hip Hop, Reggae, Rock, Folk, Country, and Jazz, all of which make themselves known throughout their performance of original material, as well as their innovative take on popular renditions. Each of the three members of this all-star cast are heavily rooted in the Minneapolis music scene and have performed throughout the midwest states, bringing their act to venues, breweries, bars, festivals, corporate events and have recently landed a spot as the house band for the QCTV show, "An Evening with Jimmy Good."     The Trio has found a way to bring a unique sound that is sure not to disappoint. A professional approach combined with a playful attitude keeps these burgeoning talents constantly striving to push the envelope through their compositions and zestful live performances.
