The event will celebrate our work during the past year\, provide information on our current activities\, and raise funds to allow us to continue to offer our training and technical assistance program at low or no cost.\n\n \n\nThe event will feature a taco bar and silent auction of a variety of unique gift baskets. Your organization can help support the work we do in two important ways.\n\n \n\nFirst\, by providing items to include in the auction. This could be an entire gift basket\, smaller items that can be combined with other donations or cash we can use to purchase items for the auction. All contributors will be acknowledged for their generosity during the event.\n\n \n\nThe second way is to attend the event at the American Legion on January 19th to show your support for the HLDC and learn more about what we have going on.\n\n \n\nBoard members will be canvasing the community in the coming weeks to request donations\; however\, you don't have to wait.
